1- Implanting of basic moral principles in the mind of pupils : the sense of fairness, truthfulness, and proper social behavior.
2- Assistance of pupils to appreciate good social relationships.
3- Assistance of puplis in logical reasoning and encouraging them to express their opinions.
4- Providing pupils with general knowledge and acquainting them with their natural environment with a view to protecting it.
5- Assistance of pupils to understand their social environment and inducing them to help in solving its problems.
6- Implanting civic values such as respect of others, and the prevailing social standards.
7- Respect and appreciation of menial work.
8- Emphasis on the value of planning and encouragement to participate in plan execution.
9- Emphases on the value of cooperation and on priority of the general good v.s. Personal interest.
10- Respect of individual variants irrespective of sex, colour or creed.
11- Training in the practice of democratic principles within the group and in social life
12- Development of the traits of leadership and drilling in following the leader.
13- Encouragement of the individual to hold to his/ her rights or to know when to abandon them courageously.
14- Emphasizing the value of leisure time and its appropriate use.

1- غرس المبادىء الأساسية التي تنمي الأخلاق الحميدة كالعدل ، والصدق ، ومراعاة آداب السلوك .
2- مساعدة التلميذ على تفهم العلاقات الإجتماعية الصالحة ، وإيجاد العلاقات الحسنة .
3- مساعدة التلميذ على عادة التفكير المنطقي المنظم باتاحة المجال له لإبداء آرائه .
4- تزويد التلميذ بقدر كاف من المعلومات العامة التي لا يحصاها داخل جدران الصف كتنظيم الرحلات .
5- مساعدة التلميذ على تفهم مشكلات المجتمع ، وبيئته ، وغرس حب المساهمة لحل تلك المشكلات .
6- إكتساب المثل العليا ذات الصفة الإجتماعية كإحترام الغير ، والتقيد بمعايير المجتمع .
7- تنمية إحترام العمل اليدوي .
8- تنمية وضع خطة للعمل والمشاركة في تنفيذها وتقييمها .
9- تنمية ميزة التعاون ، وتقديم مبدأ الصالح العام على الصالح الشخصي .
10- إحترام الفروقات الفردية بغض النظر عن الجنس أو اللون أو العقيدة لتجنب التحيز .
11- إكتساب كيفية ممارسة الحياة الديموقراطية داخل الجماعة وتحت إشراف المرشد .
12- تنمية القدرة على القيادة والتبعية .
13- مساعدة الأفراد على التمسك بحقوقهم أو التخلي عنها في بعض المواقف دون تردد أو خوف .
14- تنمية إستغلال أوقات الفراغ لمصلحة الفرد.
